Sheffield Launch Program...
A proven process designed specifically to gather and organize all the critical components ... to conceptually design a "blueprint" for your launch.
Once engaged, this intensive concept development and design process will begin during the initial 2 to 3 week period prior to the Phase-1: Marketing Action Plan session held at the Sheffield Resource Network offices in Scottsdale, Arizona (10 am – 4 pm), which will include a review of identified project assignments and implementation schedules.
With more than 800 MLM/Direct Selling company startups to our credit over the last 25 years, the session follows a proven process designed specifically to gather and organize all the critical components pertaining to our product offering and business concept leading to conceptually design a "blueprint" for your launch.
It is our experience that to maximize our time together we can use technology to capture information in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner. The process begins with you receiving a series of tools and educational programs that are sent electronically to fast forward the knowledge process for your Team. We will assign a specific "Point Person" who will explain the process and help you to maximize the benefit of the targeted launch development system, schedule initial technology based workshops with the appropriate members of your Team and work with the SRN project manager to help assure that the process is compatible with the schedules of all that are involved. Upon your review of each workshop agenda, a contact with the appropriate SRN Consultant or other contract service provider will be scheduled. This will be implemented using one or more of the following communication tools:
- Video Briefings
- Online Questionnaires
- Excel Worksheets
- Conference calls
- Webinars
- Video casts
- Email
You and your Team will be a partner in this process with each development session led by the appropriate SRN Consultant or other service providers with whom you may have contracted (lawyer, branding expert, software company, website designer etc.). Our goal is to identify strengths and missing or weak elements in your business model and create a logical process for creating strategies to improve the overall outcome. This strategic planning process helps to:
- Uncover incorrect information or assumptions upon which previous decisions may have been made, or upon which future decisions may be pending. By identifying these areas, we can help you avoid making costly mistakes.
- Assure that everyone is on the same page. Good communication is a foundation to success in any business. Miscommunication and misunderstandings are often the most costly part of starting a new enterprise.
- Transfer information to Sheffield Resource Network needed to create our deliverables. During the concept design stage and prior to the strategic planning workshop, a day of live consulting, SRN will continue gathering the necessary information needed for us to provide a comprehensive outline defining the tasks that must be completed and specific work assignments for your company launch.
During the entire strategic planning process our Team will be your Team. We will operate as if your business is our business. Therefore we ask the tough questions and debate the answers until we agree on the best tactics and solutions that support a successful business launch. We will discuss many topics, but focus our attention in four critical areas:
1. Product
- Definition, imaging and positioning of the Company's centerpiece product/service line as well as current and future product line extensions
- Final review of product or service costs, pricing and margins as it pertains to the compensation plan design, commission payout and projected company profit margins.
- Examination of production lead times and inventory requirements (if applicable), along with distribution strategy for direct sellers and customers
- Review of competitive products and determination of how the Company's products and services are to be positioned in the marketplace
2. Marketing
- Final definition of the initial target market during Prelaunch and first year launch activities
- Development of an appeal, or core marketing message
- Creation of a simple selling system that is easily duplicated by distributors
- Final review of identified compensation plan concept model, and create a preliminary conceptual design to meet needs
- Development of a plan for recruiting initial experienced MLM/direct sales leaders for pre-launching the marketing and sales program
- Exploration of an appropriate advertising and promotion strategy for recruiting independent distributors
- Discussion of Awards, Incentives and Recognition programs and timely event strategy for year one
3. Operations
The internal Operations discussions consist of Identification of an organizational chart based on the launch phase of the MLM division as well as in the Company's future growth, which leads to:
- Job descriptions
- Skills required
- Industry standards of compensation
There will be further discussion of software system (MIS) needs and costs, appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (systems), and Triggers for change.
SRN will match your current infrastructure assets to the "needs" analysis noted above. This overlay will point out areas that need to be addressed.
4. Financial
The financial plan will "digest" the information developed in 1, 2 & 3 above and together we will utilize this information to create a start up budget for your company. If you have selected our Pro forma module, we will be drilling down on key financial metrics that will allow us to begin laying the foundation for the Pro forma model (described in detail below).
Various members of the Sheffield Resource Network consulting team serve as facilitators, and together, we conceptualize your master plan for a successful venture.
